Exhibitors help French fishing charity

Exhibitors donated more than 50 boxes of fishing tackle and equipment to the official charity of EFTTEX 2012, the French-based Pêche Plaisir, Handi-Pêche.

Jean Charles Amalric is a professional patented fishing guide. Jean Charles offers disabled people the possibility to enjoy fishing in excellent conditions.

From people with reduced mobility or heavy physical handicaps, low vision, blind to autistic Jean Charles has studied special programmes to help these groups enjoy the outdoors, nature and fishing in fully adapted secure locations, incorporating large platforms accessible to wheelchairs with the best possible safety conditions. Jean Charles has also made it possible for these groups to enjoy boat fishing with adapted boats and adapted slipways to embark and disembark easily. Special equipment is also a key point for disabled people fishing, such as electric reels, bite detectors, special bank sticks etc…
