LINEAEFFE JOINS THE EFTTA LINETEST PROJECT
The European Fishing Tackle Trade Association has finally managed to bring the Line test programme to the Italian market. For years EFTTA has received countless complaints about Italian manufacturers of monofilament grossly overstating the breaking strengths on their labels. Even after the introduction of the EFTTA line test logo, very few Italian companies supported the initiative and corrected their labelling.

The EU has confirmed they will not introduce a lead ban following findings in a study on the advantages and drawbacks of lead used in various sporting equipment and leisure products and its overall affect on the environment.
