EFTTA opens waiting list for EFTTEX
Companies that have not secured a stand for EFTTEX 2011 can apply to join the official waiting list for the show. EFTTA is offering the service to disappointed applicants following the announcement that the show has completely sold out. But those companies still hoping to be at the show in Amsterdam in June are also being urged to look at alternative ways to promote themselves to buyers, including taking up one of the many sponsorship opportunities within the hall.

Shimano and Rapala announce third quarter rises
Major EFTTEX exhibitors Shimano and Rapala have announced third quarter sales increases. The Rapala VMC Corporation reported record-breaking figures for its third quarter, while Shimano, headquartered in Japan, showed a 15.9% increase in net sales to 155,875m yen.

Angling International boosts its news service
Angling International will be improving its news service to the trade following the addition of Anthony Hawkswell to the editorial team. Anthony, an experienced news journalist and business magazine editor, takes up the newly-created role of Assistant Editor and will work alongside Editor Mel Bagnall at the magazine’s UK offices.

Surge in EFTTEX bookings prompts warning
Companies that have not yet secured stand space at EFTTEX 2011 risk missing out on the show altogether, EFTTA is warning. The warning comes after the EFTTEX phone line re-opened to a torrent of new bookings in the first weeks of October. EFTTA took 50 new stand bookings in less than three weeks, bringing the total number of companies booked for the show in Amsterdam in June to 189.

Tubeology leads returning exhibitors
Tubeology has re-booked for EFTTEX 2011 following what it describes as a ‘fantastic’ experience at the 2010 show. The UK company marked its first anniversary at EFTTEX in Valencia and, four months on, is still celebrating the huge amount of business it generated over the three days at the show.
