EFTTA saddened by untimely death of Chandra Tibrewal

Members of the EFTTA Board and Secretariat were saddened to hear of the untimely death of Chandra Tibrewal, a director of Indian tackle manufacturer Bhagwati.

Chandra (54) died after fighting a losing battle against cancer. He had worked in the industry for more than 30 years and was a regular at EFTTEX, where his company has been exhibiting since 1986.

Following his death, Bhagwati has announced a restructuring of the company that has seen the appointment of two family members, Saket Tibrewal (25) and Sumedha Tibrewal (22), as directors.

They will be working under KailishTibrewal, Head of Product Development and Marketing.

Kailash said: “The introduction of a new generation will make our company stronger in the coming years.”
