EFTTA NEWSLINE BEING SEEN BY ALMOST 5,000 PEOPLE
New email newsletter is proving a big hit in the worldwide angling industry
EFTTA'S new email newsletter – ‘Newsline’ - is being seen by almost 5,000 influential members of the angling industry, according to figures released today.
The latest broadcast, which contains important news from EFTTA and the angling industry worldwide, was delivered to a unique database of 4,931 industry professionals.
The new EFTTA Trade News (ETN) digital magazine - which features special page-turning technology - has also proved to be a hit with the tackle trade, the first issue being sent to 4,176 people.
"The opening rates for both the Newsline newsletter and ETN magazine are very encouraging," said EFTTA president, Gregg Holloway. "We want to make sure EFTTA is communicating more effectively with members-and non-members and these regular emails are being well-received."
Since June, a total of 17,411 Newsline emails have been successfully delivered by digital marketing agency TheSourceFor Publications on behalf of EFTTA, with email tracking software reporting read rates of 30% and total readership figures of 5,175.
Stories in the newsletter are linked directly to EFTTA's website, www.eftta.com, driving increased traffic to the site.
Publisher Naidre Werner said: "The reports prove that there is an appetite in the angling trade for impartial angling news, delivered on a regular basis. Our aim is to work closely with EFTTA to make Newsline a weekly broadcast, meaning it will become the fastest communicator of European angling news."
EFTTA currently has access to a database of more than 8,000 angling tackle trade industry emails, which is being cleaned and updated. EFTTA is confident of increasing this number to more than 10,000 by the end of the year.
EFTTA members who wish to include their own news in Newsline or ETN should send copy and pictures to the newsletter editorial team at editor@thesourcefor.co.uk or contact EFTTA's PR manager Heather Kerr at heatherkerr@eftta.com.
