Richard Sanderson has resigned from the Board of EFTTA following his departure from Hardy & Greys.
Sanderson, who joined the EFTTA Board in 2005, was in charge of the association’s finances and deputised for President Pierangelo Zanetta when he could not attend meetings. One of his last duties was to chair the EFTTA Board meeting in Vienna in November.
EFTTA CEO Jean-Claude Bel said: “I am sad that Richard has resigned. He was a very active member of the board and did a lot for the industry. His contribution will be missed.”
Sanderson left Hardy & Greys after eight years with the renowned UK fly fishing tackle manufacturer. Following his departure, Hardy & Greys announced that it is to make up to a quarter of its workforce redundant at its headquarters in the north-east of England. The company blamed ‘flat’ sales in the UK for the job losses.
