EFTTEX 2008 FLOOR SPACE OVERTAKES FINAL FLOOR SPACE TOTAL FOR 2007
The amount of floor space booked for EFTTEX 2008 – Europe’s leading fishing tackle trade exhibition – has broken the 7,200m2 mark, and is already bigger than last year’s show.
To date, the EFTTEX show team has booked 7,244m of stand space which has exceeded the final total of 7,187m in Prague 2007.
A number of new exhibitors booked stand space through January and February including Florida Fields, Navico and Pro Tackle. These new exhibitors join industry major brands such as Rapala, Shimano, Hardy & Greys, DAM-Svendsen and Shakespeare.
Kate Scrafton, EFTTEX exhibition manager, said: “We are delighted with the current booking figures, which demonstrate that the global fishing trade clearly supports EFTTEX and recognises it as the leading tackle trade show in Europe.
“It’s still not too late to reserve a stand space and exhibit at what we believe could be one of the best ever EFTTEX exhibitions.”
A recent visit to the Federazione Italian Producttori Operatori (FIPO) show at the beginning of February resulted in some excellent feedback and further stand sales.
EFTTA’s stand at the FIPO show promoted the line testing scheme. Companies whose lines had already passed the EFTTA line test and had been awarded the EFTTA logo were endorsed on the stand.
Janet Doyle, General Manager of the EFTTA Secretariat said: “It was an excellent opportunity for me to speak to participants about EFTTA’s activities and EFTTEX in Rome this year.
“Mr D’Olivo, FIPO President and the show team made EFTTA feel very welcome. I have no doubt that this type of EFTTA activity has helped us increase the stand sales for Rome.”
Pre-registration for the EFTTEX 2008 show is now open and can be viewed at www.eftta.com. Entrance is free for all visitors who pre-register and tickets will be collected at the show.
