Vienna proves popular with exhibitors

Vienna is already proving to be a popular destination for next year’s EFTTEX.

More than 60% of the stand space has already been booked for the 2013 event in the famous Austrian capital.

At the end of each EFTTEX show, EFTTA makes an offer to exhibitors to re-book for the following year. The uptake this year in Paris was strong, meaning that EFTTEX 2013 is already heavily subscribed.

EFTTA General Manager Janet Doyle said: “With 134 stands already booked for Vienna, we are exceptionally pleased. The flow of exhibitors booking in Paris was constant and we expect to see plenty more stands booked when the floorplan reopens in October.

“If anyone is interested in booking for next year, please contact the office and we will be happy to provide information.”

Following EFTTEX, EFTTA’s promotional efforts have switched to America, where CEO Jean-Claude Bel and Janet Doyle have already attended ICAST. Next up is the IFTD Show in Reno, Nevada, where EFTTEX Manager Neena Tailor and Membership and Communications Officer Victoria Seymour will be promoting the show.

Janet said: “This is the time of year when many American companies are putting together their budgets for the next 12 months so having a chance to meet them face-to-face is very important.”
