The world’s biggest line manufacturers have given early notice of the products they will be showing at EFTTEX in Paris in June. The planned launches are revealed in the April Lines Special issue of Angling International magazine.
Leading the way is Rapala, which has announced it will be building on the success of its Sufix 832 braid with the launch of five new specialist lines at EFTTEX. The lines have been in development since the launch of the original Sufix 832.
Says Rapala’s Area Sales Manager Enrico Ravenni: “We are excited about the new lines that will be revealed at EFTTEX and I am sure they will tick all the boxes for anglers.”
Meanwhile, Berkley has revealed that it will be introducing its award-winning NanoFil line in two new colours and three larger sizes. NanoFil made its debut at EFTTEX 2011 in Amsterdam where it won the Innovation of the Year Award after being unveiled as a line that was neither a braid nor a monofilament.
Berkley’s Senior Product Manager Jan van de Bovenkamp, said: “We promised a revolution in the world of fishing tackle and there’s no doubt we delivered it. The new colours and sizes mean even more anglers around the world will be able to experience Berkley’s ‘Catch More Fish’ promise.”
OEM manufacturer Eurocord says it will be in Paris with a focus on increasing its market share. It will also be sharing more details of the unique 12-braided line it has developed for saltwater applications.
New Sales Representative Bram Jacobs said: “We are adopting a much more pro-active approach and will be building up a positive rapport with our customers. We want to provide them with more information about our business so it’s right to be at EFTTEX.”
These companies will be joined by the likes of Ockert from Germany, Momoi from Japan, Strike Pro, which will be unveiling more lines from its Strike Wire brand, plus American companies Hi-Seas, Rio and Western Filament, all of whom reveal their plans for Paris in May’s Angling International magazine.
