Angler Tony Dilworth save two drowning swimmers from being swept out to sea. The retired TV technician was fishing off rocks on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands when two young men were swamped by 20ft waves. They managed to grab hold of lifebelts but could not swim ashore. Tony cast out with his rod three times before the pair managed to grab the line. “It then took 45 minutes because I had to play them as if I had hooked a large fish” he said.
I wonder what breaking strength was advertised on this line?
