Prof. Gordon Watson is a benthic ecologist whose expertise lies in investigating the interaction of humans with marine systems through the a) impacts of pollution (e.g. anti-fouling paints and nutrients), b) exploitation via artisanal invertebrate fisheries and sea angling; and c) conservation through restoration and management of key coastal habitats.
