EFTTA successfully held its 2026 Annual General Assembly online on 24 June, bringing together members for constructive discussions on the Association’s priorities and activities.
Members approved the appointment of two new Board members for the 2026–2029 term: Calico S.A. (Spain), represented by Jordi Hernández Aynes, and Plastools S.r.l. (Italy), represented by Moira Dal Pozzo.
Jordi Hernández Aynes brings decades of experience in the fishing tackle industry and has been actively involved in EFTTA since its early years, having served on the Association’s first Board in 1981. As CEO of Calico S.A. and co-founder of ADAP, he contributes extensive knowledge of the European market and the challenges facing the sector.
Moira Dal Pozzo is owner and Managing Director of Plastools, an Italian manufacturer specialised in plastic injection moulding for the fishing tackle industry. With more than 30 years of manufacturing expertise combined with hands-on angling experience, she offers valuable insights into innovation, production and the needs of today’s anglers.
Together, their appointment strengthens EFTTA’s representation in Southern Europe and contributes to a broader and more balanced geographical composition of the Board. EFTTA aims to further broaden the Board in the near future with representatives from Eastern and Northern Europe.
Members also approved the 2025 Financial Report, the 2026 Budget and the discharge of the Board.
Alongside an update on EFTTA’s key lobbying and advocacy activities, members were introduced to several new initiatives, including the relaunch of the members’ area on the EFTTA website, a new EFTTA Webinar Series and the Angling Summit 2026 concept. Further information on these initiatives will follow shortly.
EFTTA warmly welcomes Jordi and Moira and looks forward to working with its strengthened Board and members to continue supporting and promoting the European fishing tackle sector.
